GET THE PHONE RINGING & EMAIL PINGING


The success of any business is predicated upon both the phone and email. They are not just for outgoing calls, personal use, or entertainment. However, more importantly for incoming business. If the phone isn't ringing or email not generating inquiries, then there is something wrong. It's time to seriously revaluate your business strategy. What is one not doing correctly or enough of?

Every business is predicated upon prospecting and sales. There is a direct correlation between the two. If one is not prospecting enough, then sales will be lackluster at best. A lack of sales equates to a depleted budget. Which means complete failure.

It's not too late!!! Gather one's self together and begin to immediately reevaluate and adjust your business model. Reorganize by getting a visual on the number of phone or cold calls made to qualified prospects daily. Have a specific number in mind to accomplish. It doesn't matter if it's twenty, (20), fifty (50) or one hundred (100). The aim is for setting a realistic goal of qualified prospects.

Setting niche or target markets are a blueprint for success. Be where others are not. Evaluate your leads and prospects to ensure they are qualified. Also, look at the number of referrals being sourced. These are warm business prospects often forgotten. Get the phone ringing through client referrals of those you already enjoy an outstanding relationship. Be sure to return all phone calls promptly. This is the number one downfall.

BE OUTSTANDING..... Hold to your promise!! "Your word is your bond"...... If a prospect requests an email, be sure to send it within twenty-four (24) hours. Set a date and time for follow up in the email. Even if they don't initially respond, there is now a reference point for you to go from. This sets the stage for a follow up conversation. Make the prospect owe you!

All Business Owners and Sales Professionals can get into ruts or burn out. We are constantly on the grind, facing objections, deceptions and non-responsiveness. These factors can spawn complacency, self-doubt, or a desire to step away. The key is a realization that your mindset has gone there.

Getting back on track is sometimes just a matter of bringing "positivity" back into focus. Refocusing your mindset allows one to focus on positive goals. Judge where you are at today! Give yourself the kickstart needed. We are all human and falter sometime. As any successful individual does, get back up to reach higher for better outcomes.
